Deus Absconditus (Hidden God) refers to the secret things of God, including His eternal, hidden will, specific future plans, and the full extent of His being, which remain beyond human comprehension. Deus Revelatus (Revealed God) refers to everything God has disclosed about Himself and His will through His revelation, primarily the Bible. God has revealed enough of Himself in His Word for humanity to know Him, His character, and how we are to live.
